Sapporo Teine Ski Resort

The Sapporo Teine Ski Resort consists of two ski areas, HIGHLAND and OLYMPIA, and is a 40-minute drive from the center of Sapporo. The ski resort is located on Mt. Teine at an altitude of 1,000 meters, and offers beautiful views of the Sapporo cityscape and Ishikari Bay. Most of the skiing events at the 11th Winter Olympics held in 1972 were held at the Teine Ski Resort. The ski resort has 15 slopes and 9 ropeways. There are slopes for beginners here, and a slope called "Shirakaba SUNSHINE" where you can practice at night.
